Godley Head Elopement // Kirsty + Travis

Godley Head is a pretty spectacular location to elope in Canterbury. We always find the drive there a little hair raising… (we are wimps) but the views are well worth it! Kirsty + Travis booked Kineta Booker to be their celebrant and she arranged for us to be their photographers AND witnesses. Having two witnesses at your ceremony is a legal requirement for anyone wanting to get married. We were delighted to sign the official docs for this gorgeous couple.

X marks the spot. Our drone beautifully captured the location where Kirsty + Travis said “I do.”

They did a thing… Kirsty and Travis made a cute sign and used this photograph to share the news with their friends and family that they had eloped.

Kirsty looked absolutely stunning in a simple, yet elegant gown. Unbelievably the dress was found online and cost less than $50! We think she looks like a million bucks in her bridal portraits.

There are lots of lovely spots for photos at Godley Head. When you book us to be your elopement photographers we document your ceremony (sign the paperwork if you need us to!) and then we spend 1-2 hours with you both capturing some natural and relaxed portraits.

When we deliver your elopement gallery we also include lots of black and white photos.

What a way to celebrate the start of married life together! It’s no secret that we love an elopement… and don’t get us wrong as we love a big bash too… but it’s really quite an honour and SO fun to be a part of a couple’s top secret special day ;)
