Kia ora, we're Robin + Andie

We're a wedding photography and film studio based in Akaroa, on beautiful Banks Peninsula, covering weddings right across Canterbury, Christchurch, the South Island and beyond. Our whole approach comes down to one idea: your day should feel like your day, not a photoshoot.

Originally from Winchester in the UK, Robin has been photographing weddings for over 20 years. He's an expert at capturing unmissable moments, a skill he's honed shooting world-class music events and festivals such as Glastonbury and artists like The Rolling Stones, Ed Sheeran and Mumford & Sons.

Robin provides exceptional editorial content for Getty Images and his high-quality work is regularly published in magazines and online publications such as NME and Rolling Stone.

Andie studied film at university in New Zealand, and met Robin in London after many happy years of being based there. While working for a luxury travel PR company as Head of Photography, to further develop her photographic skills, she studied for a post grad at The British Academy of Photography and passed with distinction.

Andie's relaxed vibe brings out the warmth in every occasion, and she loves photographing weddings with Robin, her best friend and husband. Alongside being an experienced wedding photographer, Andie has photographed some of the most beautiful hotels in the world. Her work has been published in Condé Nast Traveller, Harper's Bazaar and Tatler.

Our wedding photography has been published in Rock n Roll Bride, My Wedding Magazine and Canterbury Bride.

Our awards include: Top 10 International Wedding Photographers, NineDots Awards, LUX Magazine Best Documentary Wedding Photographers, Best Photographers South Island, and in 2022 Best Wedding Photographers New Zealand.

When Rob isn't on a shoot, he's a keen chef and likes to create foodie havoc in the kitchen. Andie likes to go for epic beach walks around Banks Peninsula. Apart from each other, their one true love is 'Eileen' their one-eyed rescue cat (aka Schnooks).
