Kia ora, we're Robin + Andie, a wedding photography and film studio based in New Zealand, and we travel.
We've photographed and filmed weddings in the UK, Italy, Greece, France, Australia, Fiji and the Cook Islands. Here's some of it.
The UK and Europe
Robin is originally from the UK, so British and European weddings are familiar ground rather than an adventure.
Australia and the Pacific
Island weddings bring their own demands. Heat, hard light, and a schedule that bends around the weather.
How we work away from home
The same as at home: quietly and out of the way. Documentary photography and film, nothing staged.
Travelling doesn't change the approach, but it does change the planning. Different light, unfamiliar venues, and often a wedding that runs across several days rather than a single afternoon.
Photography, film, or both
Wedding films can be booked on their own now, or alongside your photography. Both together suits a destination wedding particularly well, since you're usually capturing a few days rather than one, and a film holds the shape of that better than stills alone.
