Kia ora, we're Robin + Andie, a wedding photography and film studio who've photographed and filmed weddings at Larcomb Vineyard.

Larcomb is on Larcombs Road at Rolleston, out past the edge of Christchurch, with vines, heritage buildings and a big red barn on one property.

Shooting at Larcomb

The barn is the reason this place works as well as it does when the weather doesn't. High ceilings and exposed beams give it real height, so an indoor reception here doesn't feel like a fallback, and there's enough room overhead that the space still photographs well with a crowd in it.

The heritage buildings give you texture that new-build venues can't. Old brick and timber hold light differently to painted walls, and they give portraits a sense of place rather than a neutral backdrop.

Outside there are the vines and open Canterbury sky, so the day can move between quite different looks without anyone travelling.

Worth knowing: Larcomb takes bigger numbers than most venues around here. Happy to talk it through either way.
