Trents Vineyard Wedding Photography + Film

Kia ora, we're Robin + Andie, a wedding photography and film studio who've photographed and filmed plenty of weddings at Trent's Estate Vineyard.

Trents sits between Prebbleton and Templeton, among grapevines, paddocks and mature trees, and it's private in a way that's rare for somewhere only a short drive from Christchurch.

Shooting at Trents

The old whitewashed building is the reason this place photographs the way it does. White walls bounce light back at you, so even in harsh midday sun there's soft, flattering light against them. Not many Canterbury venues give you that.

The sheltered lawn with the gazebo under the sycamores is the other one. Dappled shade for a ceremony, protection when the nor'wester gets up, and a backdrop that doesn't need anything doing to it.

Between the white walls, the vine rows and the mature trees, a single wedding here gives you three quite different looks without anyone leaving the property. That variety is genuinely unusual, and it's why galleries from Trents rarely look samey.

Elopements and smaller weddings

The gazebo and sheltered lawn suit an intimate ceremony as well as a full wedding, and the grounds are big enough that a small group still gets the whole setting.
