Christchurch Wedding Photography + Film

Kia ora, we're Robin + Andie, a wedding photography and film studio just over the hill from Christchurch on Banks Peninsula.

Close enough to know the city's venues properly, far enough out that we're not city photographers doing the same three garden shots. We shoot across Christchurch and Canterbury year round, and we know where the light goes in each of them.

Christchurch venues we know well

Christchurch gives you more range than almost anywhere in the South Island. Vineyards a short drive out, established gardens in the middle of town, and a growing set of city spaces that photograph beautifully.

We've shot vineyard weddings at Cossars Wineshed,Trents Vineyard and Larcomb Vineyard, garden weddings at Pemberton Gardens and Ilex, industrial city weddings at the Milton Street Substation, and hilltop celebrations at Waipuna Estate. Each has its own rhythm, and knowing them beforehand means less time working out where to be and more time actually shooting.

Our approach

Natural, calm and documentary. We photograph what happens rather than staging it, with minimal direction, so the day runs at your pace instead of ours.
