Beka + Jeremy // Church of the Good Shepherd Wedding

There’s nowhere quite like Lake Tekapo on a sunny summer’s day – that vivid turqoiuse blue water, the soft golden hills, and the Southern Alps standing strong in the distance. It was the most perfect setting for Beka and Jeremy to say their vows at the Church of the Good Shepherd.

Beka arrived in style in a vintage car, stepping out in the coolest 60s-inspired mini dress and short veil – she absolutely nailed the look. Even better? Her mum had recently become a pastor and got to officiate their wedding (at the most famous church in New Zealand no less!). Just the sweetest, most personal touch.

From the iconic view through the church window to the lupins blooming along the lake’s edge, the whole day felt like a postcard. We found the most amazing patch of yellow flowers lakeside (a hidden gem!) and the soft clouds hugging the mountains made it even dreamier for portraits.

Afterwards, everyone headed to the community hall for a relaxed reception with killer cocktails poured by Lemon Pie Caravan. Laid-back, heartfelt and full of joy – the best kind of wedding celebration!
