Bangor Farm Wedding Photography + Film

Kia ora, we're Robin + Andie, a wedding photography and film studio who've photographed and filmed weddings at Bangor Farm.

Bangor is out in the Canterbury countryside beyond Christchurch. Wide open land, historic farm buildings, and enough space that the day belongs entirely to you and your people.

Shooting at Bangor Farm

Space changes how a wedding photographs. Nobody's crowded, nothing's queuing, and people drift rather than shuffle. That's ideal for documentary work, because the good moments happen off to one side, and here there's room for them to happen at all.

The farm buildings give you texture. Old timber, corrugated iron and worn surfaces hold light in a way that new venues can't, and they photograph beautifully in flat weather as well as sun.

Then there's the sky. Out on that land there's nothing interrupting the horizon, so you get big, open backdrops and the sort of light that keeps going right through the evening.

And it's genuinely private. No passers-by, no other function next door. Just your day happening on a farm.

Our approach

Natural, documentary-led and unobtrusive. We photograph what happens rather than staging it, and let the day set its own pace.

That's Wedding Photos With Good VibesĀ® in practice. Calm on the day, and photos and films that carry the real feeling of it.

Elopements and smaller weddings

The scale works either way. A small group on a big farm doesn't feel lost, it feels like you've got the place to yourselves, because you have.
