If you’re looking for WOAH wedding photos then look no further… We love to use our drone creatively for our couples on their wedding day.
The beauty of having a drone included in your wedding package (free of charge) is that you’ll get to have some really cool aerial shots of your wedding venue and fun portraits too.
We like to use the drone to tell the story of the town where you got married. This is a great way to show off your wedding destination if it’s a scenic location. Any guests who are overseas and can’t make the wedding will get a better understanding of where you were for your epic NZ wedding celebrations.
The drone is great for one big group photo, which captures all of your guests in one shot!
We love to photograph beach wedding locations with the drone and it’s so fun for guests to write messages in the sand. We’ll shoot these from above too.
Immaculate vineyards always look so impressive when shot from above. Patterns and symmetry always work so well for aerial shots. We’re forever wondering how things might look from above and often it’s a really nice surprise! The drone angle always looks so epic and very cinematic in our wedding videos too.
Our DJI is a fun and impressive inclusion to our wedding photography coverage. Drone photography in NZ requires that we have permission from DOC, private land owners and your wedding venue to fly above their premises… so within legal guidelines (CAA Part 101) and with safe weather conditions we’re good to go! Our drone is great for capturing cool group shots, a birds eye view of your wedding venue and arty portraits that will impress your mates.
As long as it’s not too windy on your wedding day, we’ll definitely get the drone out. With two photographers on the job we have time to capture lots of different angles for our clients. The drone gives us the opportunity to try something a bit different that no-one else will have in their wedding gallery. They are ‘one of a kind’ photos. The kind of photos that our clients print, frame and hang on their walls.
