Bangor Farm Wedding // Siobhan + Ash

We’ve never known a groom to organise an entire wedding before… but Ash did just that! Siobhan being the super chilled person that she is just turned up and got married to the love of her life. Ash chose Bangor Farm for the couple’s wedding ceremony and reception. The boy did good! Here are a few highlights from their amazing day…

When we arrived for ‘getting ready’ photos Siobhan was surrounded by her closest family and friends (who were making cocktails in the kitchen!). All of her wedding details and dried floral bouquets were beautifully collected together and her wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses hung on matching coat-hangers for us to photograph. As photographers we do appreciate matching coat-hangers for a beautiful aesthetic.

While Siobhan was getting ready Ash was too! The beauty of having two photographers is that Andie hangs out with the girls and Robin can photograph the guys in another location.

If you’re wondering what ‘documentary photography’ is… here’s a very funny example of what we mean! In the photograph above Siobhan’s sister lovingly helps her with her dress and in the shot below… Siobhan’s sister lovingly helps her with her dress. Haha siblings! We document it all. The laughter and the tears… and the funny faces ;)

Siobhan rolled up to her wedding in style! Her dad drove her to Bangor Farm in his very cool classic car… an E-Type Jag!

Ash and his boys (and his best dogs Lexi + Memphis) waited at the front of the aisle for Siobhan. Ash was pretty pumped to see her walking down with her dad and so were the couple’s two gorgeous pointers who got treats ;)

The ceremony location at Bangor Farm is easily one of our favourites in Canterbury. We love the dark benches and the white gravel. The venue is surrounded by lots of beautiful woods too! It’s got a really relaxed, European vibe… and it’s the perfect place to just chill and enjoy your nuptials!

We’re a big fan of biodegradable confetti and olive leaves are a great option!

After the ceremony is the best time to do one big group photo of everyone at your wedding ceremony. We like to use our drone for this fun shot.

The lawns and woods surrounding Bangor Farm are lush and immaculately kept. Presentation is something you should really look at when choosing your venue. You get what you pay for… and bear in mind you’re paying for a place to party and to have beautiful wedding portraits done. Bangor Farm is a wedding venue that ticks all the boxes in our book.

While Siobhan + Ash’s friends and fam enjoyed a few beverages… we set off with their wedding party to explore the grounds. We had so much fun! There really are so many great options for wedding photos at Bangor.

Instagram Vs Reality when you’re photographing dogs on a wedding day… haha.

When we walked in and saw the reception space at Bangor Farm for the first time we actually gasped WOAH!

Ash did such an amazing job organising everything for the wedding. We just love this photo of Siobhan looking at her clever hubbie! He really created the perfect day for her… literally all she had to do was turn up and enjoy!

Siobhan + Ash: “The ease that Robin + Andie make you feel in front of the camera is second to none. For both of us that aren’t normally photo people what Robin + Andie captured was amazing and very natural. The wedding day flowed so well and was captured beautifully from every angle including of course the incredible drone shots. They clearly are outstanding at their jobs and show passion in what they do. Highly recommend them!”
